Jean Cintrón is a Puerto Rican fashion designer born in Cayey, whose creative vision has transformed the local design scene with a proposal that blends elegance, craftsmanship, and a deeply personal approach. Trained in graphic design at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico, his journey into fashion began at the age of 18 with a sewing machine that marked the start of a career driven by intuition, aesthetic sensitivity, and a strong commitment to cultural identity.
For over a decade, Jean has built a brand that goes beyond clothing: a visual and emotional experience that celebrates the human silhouette, the beauty of handmade details, and the intimacy of personalized design. His work has been featured in international platforms such as Vogue Italia, W Magazine, and Harper’s Bazaar, as well as in local publications like Imagen and Caras Puerto Rico. He has dressed prominent figures in entertainment and beauty such as Dayanara Torres, Zuleyka Rivera, Alejandra Espinoza, Giselle Blondet, Chiquinquirá Delgado, Kany García, Roselyn Sánchez, and Natalia Jiménez.
Jean has also collaborated with brands such as Coca-Cola, Maybelline Puerto Rico, and Galería, developing capsule collections, editorial campaigns, and fashion experiences that connect design with the public in accessible and emotional ways. In 2022, he was selected by Coca-Cola Puerto Rico to design a special edition of its iconic can, as part of a commemorative series celebrating local creative talent. His design, full of symbolism and elegant minimalism, paid tribute to Puerto Rican culture and feminine strength, becoming a collectible piece distributed island-wide.
From his atelier in Cayey and his boutique in Calle Cerra, Santurce, Jean creates one-of-a-kind pieces that combine organic draping techniques, handmade finishes, and a vision rooted in timelessness and human connection. With collections ranging from prêt-à-porter to swimwear inspired by the dolce vita and personalized bridal pieces, Jean Cintrón continues to position himself as one of the most solid and innovative voices in Caribbean fashion. His mission: to create pieces that make those who wear them feel seen, loved, and truly represented.
